Monica O'Neill
Artist, Art Educator, Art Advocate
About the Artist
Monica O' Neill has always had her hands busy at work, covered with ink, paint, or clay. She's as talented spinning a wheel, as she is with a brush or pencil in hand at the drawing board. When she is not teaching at her local schools or events, Monica creates stunning one-of-a-kind art. Her talents have been recruited for painting murals at businesses and in homes, private art classes for adults and children, as well as commissioned pieces for local interior designers.
With a Masters of Arts in Teaching, a degree in Studio Arts & Art Education, Monica has a multitude of skills which she says have assisted her in teaching art and guiding her in her own art making processes. Her pieces have a whimsical appeal incorporating nature and embracing the viewer completely in a sense of tranquility and calm.
